I wrote an invitation letter for my sister's longterm partner who is from Sierra Leone a few months ago. They just were here for 3 weeks so he got the visa. I wrote in the letter my name, and address, why I was in living in Brazil, and my Brazilian document #. I wrote how long my sister (and her name) and he had been living together in Londen, adding his full name, DOB, and passport #. He said they were very pleasant and courteous at the Brazilian Embassy in Londen. He got the visa approved on the day of the appointment and had to leave his passport for 5 days and then picked it up with the visa. Just as a tale of caution. I don't know where you are flying from but my sister and partner were flying from Londen via Amsterdam to GRU. He got denied boarding in Londen because he did not have transfer visa for the Netherlands (Schengen). They had to buy new tickets to fly directly from Londen to GRU.
