We have now moved to Hurghada and into our rented apartment. With regards to tipping, as we now live here and tell everyone we meet, are we still obliged to tip taxi drivers etc. We are on a budget and i know tips are not a lot but the "not a lots " add up in the course of a year.
What do you think? All advice gratefully received thank you and no offence intended with regards tipping, just need clarification

Tipping is a tradition here, we always tips starting from 5 pounds to a percent of the restaurant bill , to be remembered by the store or outlets , 
taxi drivers always bargains , no you dont have to tip them at all, it depends on hour and driver quality , u can use uber driver
