I am American and selling a piece of property in Trujillo. Is there a way to handle the property transaction without being in Honduras physically to sign the documents.

You would have to give someone a POA in Honduras to act on your behalf. That takes time. The lawyer in Honduras would have to send you the documents you will need sign and get notorized in The US. Then, yiu eould have to go to Honduras consolate or Fedex them there and have them send back to you. Then, you would have to send those documents to your Honduran lawyer. From there those docs would have to be reviewed and legalized in Honduras. There's more …. and more time 😉
