Personally, I had the opportunity to try basket weaving and knitting and it was an amazing experience. Participating in local crafts has helped me better understand local culture and traditions, as well as establish connections with local people.

There are many opportunities to participate in seminars, trainings and master classes in various craft areas. You can find craft shops, studios and societies in your city or area that offer a variety of courses and events. From woodworking and leatherworking to ceramics and textiles, the choice is vast, and each craft has its own unique characteristics and traditions. Personally, I had the opportunity to try working with ceramics at a local studio and it was an amazing experience. I was able to create my own unique pieces and learn new skills, as well as meet interesting people from the local community.
