I'm looking to buy a plot in Gaszcue, Santo Domingo to make an Airbnb and looking for a reputable inspector and architect/engineer to give me construction costs. Does anybody have any suggestions of people that they have worked with that they can trust? Also if anybody has any experience in construction in Santo Domingo as an expat, I would very willing to learn more from you/hire you as a consultant for this project.

Just so you're aware, the Government is making big noise about regulating/taxing AirBnB and their kind. The Hospitality website already has a placeholder to register your rental property, so this whole field is changing. Just a warning that it may not be the free-for-all it currently is, as they look toncollect the 18% ITBIS from all short-term rentals.
